Leaving Bogotá’s altitude behind, we’ll descend into warmer lands. After a short vehicle transfer out of the city, our unforgettable ride takes us to Honda, a charming colonial town on the Magdalena River.

The route is as varied as it is fascinating: for much of the ride, we pedal through the Magdalena River valley, surrounded by mountains, tropical vegetation, and rural towns that reveal a different side of Colombia. The transition from cool weather to humid heat makes this stage a unique experience, both physically and sensorially.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore the cobblestone streets of Honda on foot, cross its historic bridges, and take a local food tour, tasting the delicious and diverse fruits the region has to offer.

To end the day, we’ll share a comforting dinner and hold a technical briefing with all the details of the great challenge that awaits us the next day: the ascent to the legendary Alto de Letras.
