The adventure starts early from Bogotá, traveling in our comfortable vans toward the heart of Boyacá. After approximately an hour and a half on the road, we’ll arrive at the starting point of the magic: a small spot surrounded by mountains, where the aroma of freshly made Boyacá arepas and regional coffee will welcome us. Here, you can enjoy a traditional breakfast and recharge your energy before hitting the road.

The ride begins on quiet roads, almost traffic-free, winding through green mountains and landscapes that look like they came straight from a postcard. The fresh air, the sound of birds, and the feeling of freedom on the bike will make you lose track of time.

After 60 km of pure connection with nature, we’ll arrive at one of Colombia’s most iconic and beautiful towns, where we’ll stop to try traditional drinks and recharge. The final stretch of the day — about 25 km — will take us to a picturesque town that will steal your heart. Here, a lunch featuring the best local cuisine will be waiting for you, and you’ll have time to stroll through its colorful streets, visit artisan workshops, and discover unique pieces you’ll want to take home—from decor to accessories bearing the authentic mark of Boyacá.

To end the day, we’ll get into the vehicles for a short 25-minute ride to our hotel, where you can relax, rest, and prepare for what’s ahead.

Today awaits a true Colombian challenge: a mountain pass that will test your legs and your heart. But here the rule is clear: every pedal stroke of effort will be rewarded with postcard-worthy landscapes, fresh air, and that unique feeling of triumph that can only be experienced on two wheels. After about 40 km, we’ll pass through the Boyacá capital, where we’ll make a small detour that will take us to our final destination. The terrain eases up, your legs get a break, and the landscape… well, the landscape remains on another level. Mountains in the distance, endless fields, and the sound of nature accompanying every kilometer. Upon arrival, we’ll be welcomed by a town that seems frozen in time, with its characteristic streets and that colonial charm that captivates everyone. A delicious lunch will be waiting to help you regain energy, and the afternoon will be yours to explore, rest, or simply unwind in the tranquility of the place. Today awaits one of the most beautiful stages you’ll pedal in Colombia. The adventure begins with a 16 km mountain pass that, although a bit challenging, will reward you with views you’ll want to keep forever in your memory… and on your camera. Every curve is a postcard, and every pedal stroke a small victory.

Afterwards, a spectacular descent will take us to the edge of a lagoon surrounded by mountains. We’ll pedal around its surroundings, passing through vibrant and colorful towns, where we’ll make a short stop to try traditional drinks that will replenish your energy and connect you even more with Boyacá’s culture.

With renewed strength, we’ll face the final stretch: a mountain pass that demands everything from you, making you glance at your watch wishing to arrive… but once you reach the summit, it rewards you with a sense of pride that only those who have made it this far can understand.

Upon arriving at our destination town, you’ll have time to enjoy a well-deserved lunch, stroll through its cobblestone streets, and take home unique souvenirs—clothing made from sheep’s wool found only in this region of Colombia. What lies ahead in the coming days promises to be just as remarkable as what we’ve already experienced.

We’ll start the day with an approximately one-hour drive to the starting point of our ride. From there, the legs will warm up with a gentle climb—one of those that seem endless but don’t demand maximum effort: the famous false flats that some love and others prefer to avoid… until they realize these hide landscapes that make it all worthwhile.

We’ll travel along quiet rural roads, surrounded by mountains and fields that change color with every kilometer. Along the way, we’ll pass through picturesque towns in the region where time seems to slow down, and we’ll have the privilege of visiting one of the smallest towns in Colombia—a place as unique as it is charming.

The route will continue to reveal unique spots, perfect for stopping to take photos and breathe in fresh air, before reaching our final destination of the day, where a well-deserved rest and good food will be waiting to recharge your energy… because the adventure still has a lot ahead.
